The story of a photographer
When does the story all begin? I could take you back to when I was a little girl and my mom would tell me I was a movie star because I had sunglasses on. Or I could take you to the time I was modeling and as I posed, I listened to the instructor explain how to take a great image.
Not to sound all mushy, it really all began because one important person believes in me, that important person being my husband. He bought me my first DSLR back in 2013.
December 2017 a new opportunity personally presented itself for our family to move from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Delphi, Indiana. We packed up our lives, four dogs, three cats, 7.5 month old and moved three hours from all our family and friends.
During my second pregnancy here in Indiana, it hit me. That is when I knew I wanted to be a photographer and specialize as a birth photographer.
Since having hundreds of sessions, I now have a studio in Stockwell, Indiana!

The beginning of Simple Dimple Photography
Moments Today. Memories Tomorrow.Where did the name Simple Dimple Photography come from?
It all started when I was attempting to take photos of our second oldest. I was practicing techniques I had learned from a class I was taking.
I think it was actually one evening when I placed both boys in buckets in our back yard and our oldest was making him laugh.
Both our boys were small at birth - 6 lbs 15 oz- but quickly gained and jumped all the curves to be off of them. I was reminiscing of the time our oldest was this age and how he had such a cute laugh too.
Our youngest was laughing, and his dimples sparked my creativity!
It was in that moment I thought, what rhymes with dimple? SIMPLE!
And that’s how the name was born!
