FAQ
How do you photograph births?
I love being by your side during your labor and birth. I can be a fly on the wall during this intimate time, or we can talk about whatever you want to help get your mind of things.
I will meet with you beforehand to go over the contract and answer any questions you may have. I will also show you what equipment I bring to photograph births.
During this time, all I want is to capture all the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that you may not remember or be aware of.
Where are you located and do you travel?
I am in West Lafayettei, Indiana and travel to Lafayette is already considered in the package pricing. Additional pricing for commutes longer than 30 minutes - besides Lafayette.
*You will see occasional mini sessions for Southeast Wisconsin, as that is where I am from.*
When will we receive our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with edited photos within a maximum of 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story).
You can download all the photos from the online gallery! I recommend selecting your favorites for a surprise at the end of the year!
How many pictures will we receive?
For birth you receive a minimum of 100 edited images.
All other packages start at 20 images and you are able to upgrade to receive the whole gallery.
How do we upgrade packages?
Most packages start at a base rate for a minimum of 15* images.
You can upgrade to the full gallery which can be 35 - 100 edited images. Just ask for pricing!
What happens if you're sick?
Being healthy is the most important to me. Our youngest three have an airway defect called Laryngomalacia (LM). We practice great hygiene and we personally do not use any perfumes or anything with scents because of him.
If for any reason I miss your session, we will reschedule or your session fee will be transferred to a different session. (Ex. Off call birth to Fresh 48)
If you or your family member is sick, please let me know. Depending on your session/event we will reschedule.
